For some reason my radishes look pure yuky (?). The were planted on March 19 and began to sprout about a week later. So far, so good. But today they look like this:

Yellow/green . . . yuk! Radish10

What's up? Onions, carrots, tomatoes, and other veggies in the bed looking as expected. At least two of the leaves on each plant have turned yellow. So, what's up? Mix was put in last fall and has composted manure, humus, home compost, vermiculite, and peat.

That's interesting but it looks like the true leaves are green. Is that the case? What kind of radish did you sow?

They were Cherry Belle radishes and yes, the two center leaves are green on each plant. It's the two "first born" leaves which are yellow and some of those have dropped. This is my first year at this, so it might be something common to seed planting. In the past I deal mostly with plants from various places, i.e. pepper, tomato, squash, etc. . .
