Just bought some tators for the 1st time and curious if anyone is SFG with them? I've been looking at various ways to grow them in containers.

I saw some planting potatoes for sale at Tractor Supply today. Thought about buying some, then remembered my wife had a bag that had started growing eyes, under the sink. Someone told me that you could cut them up, so long as you had an 'eye' on each piece, and covered them with straw or dried grass clippings.

She also told me you could start to harvest them once you had purple or blue flowers. Not sure about that myself... I've never grown them before.. but it might be fun.
