Re: What's Up? Yukon gold potatoes!
This crop failed entirely last year. I'm ready to try again, but I think my problem last time was overwatering and now we're looking at 6 days of rain. I have the bed all prepared and I'm ready to plant, but now I'm thinking maybe I should wait until after this rain is done, or even longer if we have more rain coming. Is it better to get them in the ground sooner or wait until the weather is drier?
Re: What's Up? Yukon gold potatoes!
May potatoes are about done. Did okay, but the heavy rain followed by Santa Ana winds took a toll. Now we start our 8 months of sun and no rain.
