Drive 2-2 1/2 hours to pick up about 100lb of rabbit manure.

Oh Kay, I'm sorry. Come north and I'll share. Ended up with about 300lb. Nice lady sold me more than I had planned on getting.

Re: Only a gardener would
Kay,
I have a supply of *free* rabbit, sheep, and chicken manure just 10 miles from home! I haven't yet been back to get another load, but am thinking about doing so soon.
And then there's the llama farm nearby.... And there's mint compost to be had in exchange for a 30-mile drive and a few dollars.

Re: Only a gardener would
I would if I wasn't leaving home for the winter soon. My daughter lives in Purcellville and I have friends in Oakton that I visit. Maybe next spring. Riner would be an overnighter for me. I used to drive up that way to visit my daughter at VA Tech. Straight up Rt 460.Judy McConnell wrote:Oh Kay, I'm sorry. Come north and I'll share. Ended up with about 300lb. Re: Only a gardener would
There is an alpaca farm not far from where I live. I wonder if they would sell me some dung. I considered renting one of their alpacas to use as a lawnmower. Perhaps I can get a package deal...
