Corn's apoppin' and...
Woo-hoo. 10 of 11 squares of corn I planted on 4/21 have popped up.
Corn planted 4/1 looking good. It grew at least an inch last night! (This photo is from 4/26. It's now mulched.)
Looks like another good blueberry season is coming:
Carrots, beets, & okra are getting true leaves:
Peas need to be tied to fence. Again, photo from 4/26. They've grown quite a bit in 3 days!
Watermelon is going to need to be tied shortly. The left, mid-right, & right are Crimson Sweet. Mid-left is Sugar Baby. (Lost the other 3 Sugar Babies in the last freeze so reset with plants.)
And Mike realized yesterday afternoon that my 180 squares are almost filled up. So he's talking about building another bed or two... Oh, goody, goody, goody!

Looking really good Marie!!!!! A bit jealous but New England will be following suit soon. So glad Mike realized you need more garden space, there's never enough square feet. Something always "follows you home" Did hints need to be dropped or did he figure it out on his own?

LOL! Too True!
No, he actually brought it up himself. After he told me the other day that we ABSOLUTELY would not spend any more money on the garden this year (for the 7th? time).
I reminded him of that comment. His reply/justification is that we will save money in the long run by doing our own veggies, etc. And he's right...
