What is this bug?
Good morning all! I have had more problems with my strawberries than any 1 person should have, but, they were very prolific this yr. I've had slugs, milimedes and a few lizards, and a snake! My DH Made me 2 new pyramids to put the berries in. I Started moving them early for I could not eat the berries, for the milipedes got every berry. I found these bugs, which are in a sort of cocoon, they are still alive, but sort of hibernating. 1 was in the roots of a strawberry plant. Anyone know what it is or if it is harmful. I don't recall seeing these in the berries. There are a lot of these in the berry bed. Will they harm my other veggies? What should I do?

Re: What is this bug?
If it is a June bug larva, then it is almost made itself into an adult? I have ordered Milky Spore, could not get locally. I think that maybe it will take care of June bugs. I'm getting it for Japanese beetle larva. Could that be what this is? It's hard to identify the different grubs that are in my garden. Jo
