Keep rockin', Alan!
Raised beds:
- Avoid erosion
- Avoid compaction
- Warm up faster in spring
Don't forget:
- Build up, don't dig down...eliminates TONS of labor
- No amending. Put perfect mix on top of existing, poor soils
Spacing:
- Zip, zap

They finally got around to getting Alan into the conversation, and he did a great job. A good time was had by all.
Interesting number that I hadn't heard before: you can get a net return on your initial investment of over 2000%. That thar is cheap grub!
