Sunday Content Post.. December 25th....
Yes, I have one typed up. But, it's nothing compared to last week. My "content" post this week will be brief.
Merry Christmas, you guys. Let's all take a couple days off and enjoy the enjoyment! My kids are up. They've opened their gifts. They are off playing with them quietly for a change. My wife and I are in the kitchen just settling into breakfast at 940am. We will drive off about 45 minutes west of town just before noon to see my mom, brother, and his kids. We had my wife's mother and aunt over for a pork tenderloin, asparagus, broccoli casserole, and salad dinner last night and watched a movie. Tomorrow, I leave town for my hometown in Kansas to spend a few days with my dad, stepmom, and little sister (who is back from her 2nd year of college). We come back on the 29th to a work-related party for my wife, and a New Year's Bash with good friends and all the kiddos (about 10 of them with 6-8 of us adults)......lots of libations over the next week (some for self-medication, some for celebration).
You enjoy yours, I'll enjoy mine. I suppose life doesn't get any better than this time of year.
Peace out, homies. It looks like the oven timer just dinged me to tell me the cimmummum rollz is dun.
Merry Christmas!
