Growing Daylillies from seed
Has anyone grown daylillies from seed? I've got a couple started from seed and I have one that's white, but it's recently gotten rather wilty and weak. Could that be that seedling or something else? My other seedling is big, strong, and healthy right now(and green). I'm wanting to keep this oddling more as a novelty if I can keep it going. They're grown under a 1000W grow-light and in 70-80F room.

I have not, but am interested in what happens with yours, as I have often considered growing irises from seed - trying to cross some of my existing and see what comes out of the seeds!

Well, the oddity died out. Don't know if I babied it too much or it just wasn't meant to be. But I still have two healthy seedlings growing. May try to cross some this summer and raise them. Just wish it didn't take so long to grow and flower. Some books say it can take 3 yrs to bloom from seed.
