Hills of Kentucky
My Dad was born in Kentucky, and we went to see where he once lived when he was little. I really like Kentucky, I would like to live there someday. I see how Sqat_Johson has such a good garden now...the weather!....just kidding.... But for real everything was still growing really good there!
I saw some pretty cool things while I was there. My Dad showed me a fireplace my great grandpa (who was a Comanche) built, and it's been standing over 100 years.
Then he took me to a place called Pine Knob, and we went up a huge hillside,

Yup, the weather is different, huh?
Oh, and in Ozarkian/hillbilly speak, KNOB = MOUNTAIN. They try and tell you it's just a small hill......don't fall for it. A knob is going to be a lot of work to climb.

Kentucky is a beautiful state. I love the pics and the family history lesson. I bet that fireplace still works like a charm.
