Our Jr. Master Gardener group will be garden pen pals with the JMG in Korea. I sent my pen pal a SFG book along with my letter. I see in their garden picture that they have gardens that look a lot like SFGs (no grids)
Here is a link to their 'People's Garden'.

Think globally act locally has become act locally and act globally for you. Excellent.

Rant Alert: On a USDA blog that Josh gave the link to:

You may remember when USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack announced last June that People’s Garden’s existed in all 50 states...

PEOPLE'S GARDENS!!!! It is plural, not possessive and they should know that.

I have to edit my posts two or three times for spelling or grammatical errors (why I am not a copywriter I do not know) and I have come to lower my expectations in correct spelling/grammar in the fast pace of the internet. But I do expect major organizations - like the government - to know what the heck they are doing (and I know you will ask where I got THAT expectation).

And with the weight of crap I am dealing with right now, I thank the USDA for momentarily taking me out of my own head and allowing me into theirs.

WOW! I'm glad I'm not your dog today! Razz

I have copied and pasted the phrase to which I believe you are referring. (Nopers, you didn't get to catch me writing a sentence ending in a preposition. rofl )

...Tom Vilsack today announced that 'People's Gardens' now exist in all 50 states...

The phrase People's Gardens is enclosed in apostrophes throughout the article, so it looks like 'People's Gardens'. May I suggest that the second apostrophe is not implying possession, but rather closing the initial apostrophe?

Go back to bed, you night owl!! rock on

LOL. The funny thing is, I did not even SEE it in your post! I only saw it on the USDA one. Wow. That must have seemed harsh. Sorry about that. But then I like you, Josh and the USDA I am neutral on. Like 'em ok, but eh.

I am all better now. Thanks for the hug! Very Happy I love you
