I'm in mourning over my worms
I bought some worm castings which came with some red wigglers...I thought I'd free the little fellows from the bag they came in so they could get some air and food --placed them in my SFG. Man...moments later i checked on them and omg...Ants everywhere and seems like I sent my ants to a death bed. I was trying to help em' ot (gez).
I now placed some grits around where the worms are, in hopes the ants eat the grits instead, and blow-up to their death.
I feel very bad right now.

I have a worm bed, ants got in, found out the ants won't hurt the worms. Extra water got rid of the ants. Water the ants well. They will move.
I tried the bit with the grits, I never could get it to work, but the worms might eat the grits!

Okay...Most of the worms are still thriving. Gave them something to eat--some tomato and coffee grounds/filter--they're eating steadfast, so that means more worm castings for me. Smiling again
