what are these tiny black bugs on my Nasturtiums?

what are these tiny black bugs on my Nasturtiums?
help .....my Nasturtiums are covered in clumps of these little black guys....they look like maybe tiny, tiny fly type bug?
want to know if i need to get rid of them or are they eggs hatching of some type of good critter..my gutt tells me they are bad ..but...hey...you never know right? ....i always hated bee's and spiders..... yet they are my friends in the garden!

Aphids. One reason folks plant nasturtiums in the garden is that aphids are attracted to them. The theory is the bugs go to the nasturtiums and not vegetable plants. I'd hit em with some insecticide soap.

i didnt know aphids were black i have seen other creatures on my roses that i thought were aphids and they were more of a cream color....
im going to google aphids....cause maybe im seeing their life cycle right before my eyes.....
im going to hit them with the soap!

Aphids come in many different colors balck, green,cream,white, and even orange.

Well so far im only seeing them on my Nasturtiums ....That must mean the Nasturtiums are doing their job in the garden .....whats weird is they all clump together on the vine and they dont seem to bother the flowers or leaves ....well...as of yet ...so i sprayed them tonight and will hose them on gentle in the morning :drunken: .....having them clump up like that sure makes it easier to get rid of them....
