Oh, man, Improvisor! How gorgeous is that - not even to mention how great it will look when it's filled with plants! Darn, now I want one!

Re: New Greenhouse
Gorgeous! Where did you say you got that again?
Then again, I'll bet the snow here would break the roof in. And I think you stated it wasn't for really cold weather.

Yes! It is very attractive . . . just like all of your yard. What are you planning to grow in it?

Re: New Greenhouse
It has been a very cool adventure so far! I plan on growing flowers & vegetables....... "Snap & Grow" is the name of the greenhouse kit...... I like the look and the engineering of this kit.... Trust me it was a serious task to assemble and plan for this greenhouse......;-}.... I hope to post progression pictures as I enter into the Greenhouse Zone!

greenhouse
Hi Improvisor....we're winding up our first season with our new greenhouse. My wife wanted to return to roots as a farm gal, and wanted some chickens, and I wanted a greenhouse, so we had it all built. Greenhouse is 8 X 12 feet...we can control sun exposure with roof shields...have swing-open windows for ventilation...have a large electric space heater with fan for cold cold nights. We planted seeds for nearly everything....grew the plants, then transplanted into our sfg and have had a blast doing it. Everything went perfectly until I carried out trays of tomato plants for an hour of "seasoning"...and brought them back upside down. After that...we had to guess at what kind they were! RACKA SACKA FRACKA! Oh well....it's all good. LOL She's not nearly as scatter-brained. Anway...good to meet you..hope all goes well with your new greenhouse...cheers....elwo

Re: New Greenhouse
The new greenhouse is up and growing.... I just received my winter crop seeds and plan on planting them tomorrow morning.... Thanks for the update on your greenhouse! The heat here has been triple digits for almost a month and all of my potted plants have been taking a serious beating. I moved them into the new greenhouse and plugged in (2) clip on fans to keep it as cool as possible and they are recovering quite nicely, I also transplanted my chile peppers, cayenne peppers & jalapeno peppers a couple of days ago and they are very happy in the new greenhouse.... I am still arranging and letting it evolve and it is a wonderful experience to date!....;-}
