Our popup showers turned into all morning thunderstorms.
Water is everywhere, and the community garden plots have
standing water. Again, I'm thankful for SFGing and Mel's Mix.

SquareDeal, thanks for showing us the differences in MM and amended soil. Unless they actually see it, many people don't realize what an advantage we have with SFG.

Yep that is just what convinced my neighbor across the street. We are still in awe over the huge plants growing in a little less than 6" of MM. It looks even more dramatic since it is a TT garden. It looks postively top heavy.

Thanks for posting that. I visited a nearby community garden yesterday and was surprised to see the difference in how much my 4x8' box can hold in comparison to the plots. I saw some grids and some of the vertical netting like the book features but no raised beds.
