Garden Commander - Deer "critter" fencing
Here's something I got yesterday that may be handy for some of you.
I almost hate to post this since the guy doesn't ship, he's in VA, but I thought some of you might be able to replicate something similar. Another thing I might not be the best to review the product since since I don't have deer problem.

You can put material on to keep moths off, or shade your lettuce OR plastic to make a mini greenhouse. Although I haven't added them, they DO have endcaps.

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

That is slick!! It looks like dog wire fencing material bent in the correct ways. I would think its stronger than dog wire? I like that idea that is for sure!!!

Re: Garden Commander - Deer "critter" fencing
From their FAQ section:
They are constructed of 14 Gauge galvanized wire designed to stop deer. Each Garden Commander section is lightweight, easy to use, and durable - lasting many years. Garden Commander has a unique shape (A Frame) that allows the sections to be stacked for easy convenient storage.
It mentions above that they can be stacked, but another thing is that the bottoms can be brought together and held "closed" with cable ties and can be stored "flat".
