Well I have managed to get my lettuce crop to come in nicely. The radish and carrots are coming along and my onions are growing like crazy. This is my first year SFG.

I planted two Early Girls to get a jump. I think I am OK in MD doing it.

I do have a question. What can I plant with onions? I have 8 more squares in one of my boxes to fill.

In one of the cute little books I have it says:

Carrot I love you Onion

Sugary Carrot finds well built Onion exceedingly attractive, especially because his bulbous, intimidating rotundity (and repelling scent) is perfect for scaring off her corrosive stalker, the annoying carrot rust fly. In exchange, Carrot makes Onion look good by distracting others from his, um, smelliness (sorry, O!). Onion loves Carrot's ferny tops and accepts her in any of her fancy forms, whether long and slender or shorty and stocky. He's a sucker for her sweetness.

Somebody on here mentioned realizing that anything that would normally go into a spaghetti sauce can be grown together happily. So that would be stuff like onions, garlic, peppers, and tomatoes. Can't recall where it was... What a Face
