Oh hail!
We Okies are facing a powerful storm tonight. Tornado sirens are going off and baseball sized hail is coming my way. Just got home from work and don't have a tarp or anything to put over my SFGs. Scared my baby plants might not make it but its too late to do anything--the rain is already pounding down. Cross your fingers for us! Next time I will try to be better prepared.

Just keep yourself safe! Remember - they're only seeds! You can't be replaced!

Wow, thanks everyone! You all are speedy. So far the hail is only pea sized so I might be ok after all. The quality of the light is so bizarre and beautiful right now. The storm is moving fast so with any luck it'll be past me soon.

Hey Okies!! If you want to see what's coming, play with this....after you play here.

I feel I can refer away temporarily since you will come back tomorrow once the storms have passed and this can actually be a safety issue for you.
I can't take my eyes away while mulit-tab browsing....lol.

Fun link BBG.
Kind of cool to see what is going on and get a better sense of where some of you are. Take care all of you.

We just had a big storm come through here on Saturday - tennis ball hail. A friend told me that her siding looks like someone took a machine gun to it. All three stories of it. So yeah, stay safe!

Re: Oh hail!
I had to call my dad today. 1- It'd been awhile. 2- He's a weather freak like me.....wonder where I get it....lol. 3- One of the live streams went right through downtown Independence, Kansas....my hometown. I called him to say that a Doppler truck was at the Phillips66 at Main and 10th streets.
He looked up the link and we laughed as the guy rolled out of town. Dad said, "That's one guy I hope NEVER needs to come back. And, I hope Jim Cantore only does live spots far, far away from here, too."
Typical dad and his dry sense of humor. But, it's a very good point. If you ever see the storm chaser guys in your town, batten down the hatches.....they know something is coming!
