Lettuce in Fl?
As I was strolling through the nursery again ( I realized I needed Basil and Cilantro), I saw they were selling lettuce.....wouldn't it be too hot for lettuce here in NE Fl?

If lettuce can be grown in PI, then you should be able to grow it in FL. BUT, I would say it would be a quick crop and probably renewed every few weeks before it starts getting bitter. Succession planting.
