Take pictures on purpose today, show me how you celebrate!!
I am going to a "How to Plant Vegetables" Seminar At Sunny Side Nursery in Marysville, Washington, then who knows what wild things I might do....

LOL I'm staring out the window at 3" of fresh snow... in Texas no less!

Where in Texas are you? I'm in Frisco, north of Dallas, and was so ready for winter to be over... then this cold front had to come along. Guess my tomato transplants will have to wait until next week.jjphoto wrote:LOL I'm staring out the window at 3" of fresh snow... in Texas no less!

We're up by Amarillo/Lubbock. I was wanting to build my strawberry bed today, but I guess that'll have to wait for another weekend.

Blech. Snow here too. Still snowing actually. Last couple weeks were so beautiful & I got the SFG all set up, now it's covered in snow. Being a life long Floridian now living in Chicago for only 2 winters I will say I actually don't mind the winter too much, I just wish it was a bit shorter. I think having the nice weather then cold & snowy again actually makes it worse. Well at least the ground is warm enough that the snow is melting on paved areas so there will be no shoveling. Guess I should be happy for that!

woah, i just pulled up your local weather, where did that come from? brrrr.
I was going to try and transplant everything from my jiffy packs into the garden today but now I'm not so sure, they're forecasting thunderstorms, winds around 20 mph all afternoon and evening tomorrow. I'm worried the seedlings may take a beating from that.
otherwise I think we're ok, temps for the next 10 days show lows around 50 and highs 70-80. guess I'll just wait a few more days but these things are outgrowing the pots in a hurry.
