Re: Blog?
other gardening websites have a blog section. It is more like a simple personal diary --so to speak that anyone can view.
Nothing fancy---just simple.
Like=== http://www.bigpumpkins.com has a Diary section. Each member has a choice to start a new diary each year of what they are growing and the progress----with out having
to post in the forums of their progress. Then friends can check on updates all the time.
the the forums could be used for questions and answers . etc.......
Just view the site ---and locate the diaries.

Re: Blog?
No, there isn't. Lavender Deb had a gardening diary going, and it was read a lot. The topic title was 'The Toy Box'. She went on vacation in August and apparently forgot how to type, although she does log in regularly. The biggest disadvantage is that it can't be linked.
See it here.

Re: Blog?
Oops.... sorry (and nice to be missed)
Got back from vacation, checked FB, noticed that students were already complaining about work and I had not been back to school yet (Lucky for me I work with the Distance Learners). When Ray set our vacation date, School was supposed to start after Labor Day. It changed over the summer. I have been working like a crazed woman trying to get caught up. Even my blogs (which I promised myself I would keep up to date) do not have an entry newer then late August. BUT I have had plenty to say about verb conjugation, thesis statements and order of operations. . . . which doesn't help when all I really want is a little dirt in my fingernails.
Deborah.... now, back to work (which is how I close notes to my students)
