pickles in worm composter?
Hi everyone,
It was a long weekend here so I did a major purge of my refrigerator. Does anyone know if it's ok to put pickles (dills and pickled beets) into my worm composter? I'm worried that the vinegar content might be too acidic for the little fellas. I'm hoping my worms will arrive sometime this week.

Re: pickles in worm composter?
In the rare event that all pickles do not get eaten and I just don't know how old they really are :suspect: ...I pour the brine down the drain and then compost the pickles.
