How to corral carrot greens?
Does anyone have advice on how to corral carrot greens? Mine are spilling down from their high-rise and shading out a few adjacent squares below the high-rise. They are currently empty, but I'd like to plant them!
Re: How to corral carrot greens?
If it were me, I'd take a piece of net wire and make a cylinder around the hi-rise (sort of like a tomato cage).

Re: How to corral carrot greens?
I am trying to figure out how to make it look good... (again... front yard!) Love the idea, but I don't think could bend/attach wire very neatly. Maybe some bird netting?? I get a lot of birds in my yard, though, now that I am running the sprinkler system. I'd hate to trap one and have it die while I was away

my garden is in the front yard, too!
just take a piece of dark colored yarn (or whatever you have, lol)
and tie around the plants about 1/2 the height. tie a pretty bow or knot it.
you'll never notice it but it willk eep all the plants in the square tidy and they won't flop outside the square so much.
i do it with my carrots and bush green beans.
