News from the Foundation!
Ok. I thought it might be a good idea to post about the latest things happening at the foundation. We have made huge changes this new year. Here is a recap of what has been happening....
1. We have a new website: As some of you might notice, I changed our webiste just a little bit..... It's goal is to be the most advanced gardening website out there. Not only that, but our website is HUGE, so I wanted to set it up to make it very easy to navigate. I hope I am doing OK in that regard.
2. New Forums: Duh! If you guys like what you see, let me know. These forums are for you guys and I want to make them a great place not only to get great information about all things gardening, but a great place to hang out, make friends and have fun!
3. New book: Mel has published yet another great book. For those of you that don't have it yet, it is called "All new square foot gardening Cookbook!" it is a beatiful book chocked full of recipes that you can make from your Square Foot Garden. You can get it HERE. Which also brings me to my next point.
4. New Storefront: As you may have noticed, I have upgraded our storefront. It is not finished yet, but it's much more advanced than the one we had last year. Please remember that any purchases you make from the foundation go to our humanitarian projects all over the world. Also, when you compare our prices to other 'raised bed' companies, you will see that we are not only better priced, but in most instances, significantly better priced! Mel's goal has never been to make money(he retired many years ago and hasn't wanted for money) I work with him on a daily basis and I can tell you that his goal really is to end world hunger. In fact, he is keynote speaker at the first ever 'world hunger conference' taking place in Hawai'i in a couple of months!
I'll be updating more in the next few days and letting you all know about even more exciting developents coming up! In the meantime, make sure you check out Mel's tips for March video in the website and let's get ready for a huge gardening year! Happy gardening. Alan

Re: News from the Foundation!
Even if you have to carry a big gun instead of a whooping stick, it is so cool to have a grown up taking care of us. Thanks
Deborah ....who almost thanked you for being the class mom.

The new forum is great! I do miss the part of our profile that listed information about our Square Foot Garden. Do you plan to add that back eventually?

This site has been fantastic for us gardeners in other countries. Even though our climate is different I get heaps of ideas and inspiration.
I have really enjoyed the posts and chit chat and the way everyone is supportive of what we are all trying to do. I really feel part of a big family.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers Ray
