Sanderson - on the Mend
After being sick all week, I finally dragged myself to the Urgent Care today. The common cold I caught on vacation has morphed into bronchitis and some pneumonia. No wonder I didn't feel perky. I should be back in full swing soon.

Stay off your computer for a few days and get better Sanderson, it could be where you got the virus from.

Oh, now I see why the doc says it will take you so long to heal. When I get sick I eat smashed garlic cloves, like swallowing a goldfish, every few hours. Usually all better by the next day. Not sure how it would work for bronchitis. But personally, I think garlic scares everything away.

Speaking of garlic, yesterday morning I made a Virgin Smoothie using 2 tomatoes, garlic, celery, basil and oregano. All I could think of for the rest of the day was garlic breath!

Garlic is great for recovery from viruses & colds.......and, it keeps people from bothering you while you are recovering....

The garlic is out and the cilantro is in. I wonder, since they are related, that chewing on cilantro might help??CapeCoddess wrote:Chew on fresh parsley for garlic breath. I like to think it helps but maybe it really doesnt???
