Chickens and Composting
Hey all,
Just a quick question. I usually get meat chickens and turkeys a few times a year in the warmer months and was wondering how many of you use chickens to help turn your compost. I saw a great article about it from a composting company in VT who does this but wondered if anyone else has tried it and how it worked for them.

Re: Chickens and Composting
We have free range chickens and an open compost pile. Our chickens do a great job of turning the compost heap. We also have a rabbit who does his part.chickenlittle wrote:Hey all,
