I'm picking tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and the last of the pink-eyed Purple Hull cowpeas before I ripped out the plants for a second round of sowing and growing.

Cook it a long time with ham hock (or country ham or salt pork and sometimes bacon but not usually). Sometimes (which I do) is break up the meat into small pieces to eat along with the beans. And sometimes add small potatoes to the pot.Scorpio Rising wrote:Yolos, is southern style with bacon?
