third revision for cold frame
Maybe this time I've got it....went from a 4 x 8 beast to a 2 x 4 cold frame... this 2 x 4 has been doing nicely for me so I am converting it to an all season unit.
There will be cattle panel up for climbing plants, netting on the outside for bug repellent, I'll put my cucumber in there, maybe a few other climbers..when fall comes along the frame stays put, it's permanent. In goes the screening till cold weather and windows go in till spring....Start over again the the windows, screen, then trellis / netting..
My one bed that is screened in is again doing so nicely..I will do all my beds eventually if for no other reason, just to keep them covered at night...so many bugs flying around at night...no wonder bats feed at night.
