Sanderson - I think the following picture is a picture of your bed before you raised the bed.  I think.  but anyway, if this is not yours, you are building yours almost identical.  So I have a few questions (I couldn't find your thread talking about this anywhere).

The vertical uprights appear to be spaced 4 feet apart.  Would you recommend spacing them closer together?  I was thinking about placing them 2 feet apart but that may be overdoing it.  The ribs I have on my 8 foot bed are 32 inches apart, maybe that is what I should go with.

Could you please provide me a link to the supplier that you buy your PVC fittings from?

At the top of the structure, what are the fittings called that are holding the horizontal pipe that goes across the top?  Are they 45 degree or 90 degree?  They look 90 degree.

Yolos,  Yes, the photo is of my 2' x 8' raised bed.  Next to it is a box 30" x 4' and the tube supports are also only 4' apart.  We moved the boxes around so the background is different from the photo you re-posted. PVC Cold Frame Table_13  The fittings are 3-way L.  In the center, it is a 4-way LT.  The funny elbows are 45*.  If you are only making cold frames or tulle supports, then supports every 4' seems to work fine.  Nothing is glued so I can convert things.  I think I ran a string from one peak to the other peak to hold them together but I can't remember for sure.

Here is the company from which I order.  Check out some of their free plans.  One could go broke building all of the neat stuff.

What a nifty website, Sanderson. Thanks for posting that. In New England it's time to start thinking about whether I want to extend the season or not, so I also went over to the Home Depot site to see what they had in comparison. Their choices are incredible limited compared to snapclamp.com, but do-able for small simple projects.
