Howdy from the beautiful North Georgia Mountains
Hi, I have done quite a bit of gardening over the years and recently mostly container and Earth Box gardening. We have TONS of deer here so...
Can't wait to try by the foot out, I think I will really enjoy it!!

Re: Howdy from the beautiful North Georgia Mountains
Welcome Sicjan. I am located just south of Atlanta in Brooks. I started my first SFG in fall of 2011 and have been expanding ever since that time. It is so nice to go out after a rain and be able to work in the garden and not wade thru soggy sloppy ugly wet Ga red clay.

Hi, Sicjan. I'm AtlantaMarie, your Regional Host. Welcome to the party!
My mom lives in Blairsville. She's got quite a few deer too. :-)
I'm in Buford.
I'm glad you've decided to join us. Ask lots of questions. And we like pictures!

Welcome to the group, I'm south of Atlanta in Newnan. Later this month we are heading up to delonaga to go gold and gem mining. I'm excited to see mountains again.

Mschaef, Dahlonega's only about an hour from me! Have fun! It's a great town to wander thru.
Are you also going to Helen? It's probly 45 min to an hour from Dahlonega. Our own little Alpine town tourist trap. :-)

Thanks to all for the great welcome, we live in Dial an area near Suches. It's kind of between Blairsville and Blue Ridge if you were to make a triangle point. Can't wait to get in the dirt!

Diggin in the dirt in Lawrenceville GA
Just built my first raised bed and found SFG. I'm looking forward to actually getting veggies from my efforts. My problem at this point is deciding which ones to plant in this precious space. I built a 4x4 and plan on eventually adding at least 4 more

Hi GardenerGabe. I'm AtlantaMarie, your Regional Host. Welcome to the party!
I live up in Buford, so not far from you. There's a few others in the Atlanta area who make themselves known. Yolos & Windmere are 2 that immediately spring to mind.
Feel free to ask lots of questions and make sure to look thru the archives. There's lots of good info there.
