I don't use Facebook so I don't know how this feature works, so those who do can supply feedback Very Happy

The negative I see about using the like button, it appears as though the like button works for the whole thread and not an individual post on the thread ????
But I don't use facebook much so I am not sure what I am doing.  You are right Rooster, we do need some feedback,

Correct. It would be a "like" for an entire thread. Wink

Not only do I have a personal Facebook page, I have a Square Foot Gardening-related page where I reference the Forum a few times a year. I also go onto the Foundation FB page, and when questions pop up I refer people to the Forum.

This feature will certainly help me get information to those who follow my page and hopefully drive traffic to the Forum. If they would like, whoever is admin on the Foundation page can make use of it.

I clicked 'like' on a different thread but it didn't show up on my fb.  Wonder if fb needs to be open in the same browser as this forum for it to work...? My fb has its own app...

Sorry I can't help. I don't use Facebook. Maybe someone else who uses Facebook could provide feedback?

I use FB a little bit so I think the like button needs to be put on the individual posting. not on top of the thread page.
I just "liked" and it was number 8.

ETA I "liked" again and it was still 8 so that part is OK.
ETA again. I do not see how any "liking" here would have a connection to my FB page.

The 'like' will show up in your news feed for other folks to see. I think.
