After prepping a bed with compost and planting some potatoes, the rest of the bed was too pretty, too inviting. So, I said, "Heck with it!" and stuck two of my tomatoes in. They had only been hardened off for all of ONE day Shocked

, and the next two days are supposed to be quite warm and sunny. This is approx 2-3 weeks before last frost date, but the forecast looks warm for at least a week out. I watered them in good, so we'll see how they hold up!

I planted out one of each type of my maters last year. Only one out performed it's later planted siblings. The others all ended up growing at the same rate whether planted early or late.
