Oh, goodness, I'm only on FB for a private group. What is bitstrips and is it safe? Sounds fun, but I have trust issues.

BitStrips is an avatar/comic strip creation app on FB. You can create your avatar and then it will show you any of your FB friends who have made BitStrips avatars, then you can choose which friends you would like to have available to make into comic strips with you. I first noticed it when a friend of mine would occasionally post a cute status-update comic with a character that just reminded me so much of her! When you go onto your FB home page, on the left side there will be a list of apps, BitStrips should be listed in there. If not, just type in BitStrips into the search at the top and it will take you to where you can make up your avatar. It generates new comic strips each day that you can choose from. Here is my latest comic. You can edit the captions, insert conversation bubbles, change expressions, etc. I am having fun with it!

I have a couple of friends on facebook that use it too. Thanks for your detailed explanation of it! And what a perfect caption you thought of for that strip!Goosegirl wrote:BitStrips is an avatar/comic strip creation app on FB...

Yeah, that was fun, and I thought my avatar looked like me. Here's a quick pic for comparison sake.
WOW! Don't you agree.

Re: Monthly Avatar Theme: March
Yep, good job. I thought mine looked like me in the garden with brown hat and sunglasses. For fun this morning, I made one of me at 20. Yes, one or two, or maybe 3 or 4, cough, differences between then and now.
Re: Monthly Avatar Theme: March
Wow windsor, too fun how close yours is to your pic. I actually was working off of a picture when I created mine too and thought about posting, but didn't. I still need to recreate mine with the age lines.

Re: Monthly Avatar Theme: March
That's awesome, Windsor.Parker! Can't remember if I mentioned this before (my memory has left me long ago), you're only about an hour from me, but it looks like you've got a very different weather zone due to the lakefront. I'm in Demotte, IN, which you've probably never heard of. (Unless of course I already mentioned this and YOU still have your memory.) :-)Windsor.Parker wrote:Yeah, that was fun, and I thought my avatar looked like me. Here's a quick pic for comparison sake.
Okay, I decided to post my picture to compare, too.
It's a little dark. Definitely think the avatar is a little (lot) more flattering.
