Hello from Maryland!
Hey Everyone!
I have been amazed by the results local SFG followers have had the past few years. Its unbelievable what people are able to produce in such a small space. We're really proud to have been supplying compost and SFG Mix to people and thought that it was time to check out the forum.
I know that a lot of people have composting questions, whether they are making their own or looking to buy some. So, hopefully while I'm learning more about SFG I can share some composting advice.
Happy Growing in 2014!!

Re: Hello from Maryland!
Last year, I purchased compost from Veteran Compost for a raspberry patch that I was starting. It is high quality compost, so there is no need to use 5 sources like the SFG book recommends. My raspberries thrived, and even produced a good harvest the first year. I will top it off this year with my homemade compost, but if you are starting a garden in Maryland, this is a good compost to use for starting your SFG.
