End of season maters
These crazy guys begged me to have their end of season picture taken.
Who was I to deny them?

very nice.
I pulled my tomatoes a couple weeks ago to make room for fall veggies...one of the best years in a while for my tomatoes.

Those are some nice ones for sure. Oh to still have maters on the vine, I am in envy and what I wouldn't give. I have had to start buying them in the store again and what junk compared to the ones I grew. Enjoy the end of the season Gina!

I am Bob and Thanks. I forgot all about bruschetta which I love. Got some in a bowl melding those nice flavors of seasonings with 3 sfg ingredients of toms garlic and basil.

I'm jealous. Most of my brandywines cracked so bad from all this rain we've been having that I just flung them over the back fence.

Beeeeauuuuutiful! And look at the size of them! I had a few big ones like that but for the most part mine are around 3-4 inches. I love a thick slice of a big one on a sammy. That way I don't have to use more than one and have them sliding all over each other.llama momma wrote:These crazy guys begged me to have their end of season picture taken.

I'm with Marc - I'm jealous too.
My tomatoes were terrible this year..... (did better with blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)...but tomatoes were BAD.

Re: End of season maters
Sorry to hear about your tomatoes. I'm jealous of your blueberries! Thought I did a ton of research on planting last year. So far one plant died, another just sat there all season as a non producer and the third one gave up a total of 5 ounces of berries. Can't figure out what is wrong. I believe I'd give you 25 pounds of maters for 3 bowls of berries!
