I'm about half way through my SFG book and can't wait to get started. Going to build a couple of SFG's this week, and gardening is going to be a hobby my 4 year old daughter and I enjoy together. I can't wait !

Howdy: One of the things that is so wonderful about Square Foot Gardening is the ability for us to build a garden "kid sized". If you build a 2X2 or 3X3 SFG tell your daughter that it is hers and hers alone and the she gets to pick what veggies/flowers to plant and take care of. You can do all sorts of fun things with her and her garden. She can count the number of squares, count the number of plants that she puts in each square, talk about the parts of plants - roots, leaves, etc. She can learn history. The history of your plants is that came to America from... She can learn geography this is a map of where your seeds/plants came from. Lots of things kids can learn from gardening! Us too.

God Bless, Ward.
