Self-Watering Boxes
I've had an idea on making self-watering SFG boxes, but haven't tried it out yet, or even fully developed the design. Before I spend too much energy and time on it, I was wondering if anybody had already tried this before. I've tried the search feature, but not finding anything quite on this particular topic. If anyone is interested, I'd be glad to share my brilliant, untested theories.

Re: Self-Watering Boxes
Guess it was too much to hope that I came up with an original idea. lol. Interesting thing is that many of those pics are very similar to what I had in mind. Thanks for the links! At least now I know that MM will work well in that kind of setup. Who knows, maybe it was just time to revive this thread.

The very easy method
This one is so easy to make, I even did it. The only difficult part was not cutting my fingers off with the knife.

That was actually a pretty creative, easy solution. Very cool.

Just what I am looking for for my daughter's house. She moved in with little sister in our little house. She helps me but this way she can have her lettuce and a tomato plant right there!
