Hello from the Puget Sound

Just wanted to say "hi" and what a lovely board!
I am a long time lover of SFG watched every show on PBS when "growing up" (figuratively) and have had raised beds literally forEVER

looking forward to catching up on all the things I do NOT know about gardening

As a gardener for about 40 years ..every year I create new goals ..try to defy nature and plant things I know are not easy to grow here (as well as my usual crops of beans greens peas and all the other fruits and veggies you toss a seed in here and jump back) ...I have a half acre urban farmstead of sorts on a hill right on the Puget Sound in one of the many temporate micro climates we have here...I am blown away by what I do not know in life and continuously am searching for new info
