I canned a bunch of salsa today!
We went to the driving range a few days ago (right next to the local greenhouse) and after we were done I told hubby I wanted to peek in the greenhouse (expecting to see cole crops, if anything) I walked into a jungle of tomatoes and peppers, I asked if he hits up the farmers market every week and he said no, people can just buy them out here. AWESOME! It is sooo hard to find fresh tomatoes and peppers out here and I was bummed after my crop had been eaten by the darn deer so I bought some tomatoes and peppers and put up 20 cans of salsa today! Woot woot! Here's to hoping it's good!
