Came across the children's book Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman. It's about an unlikely group of characters who come together through a garden.

Each chapter is from the perspective of a different character.

We're listening to it as an audiobook. I was hooked by the second chapter when the second character story starts to intersect with the first ones.

Soooo, what're ya tryin' to say, that we're an unlikely group of characters? What a Face

Sounds like an interesting book to check out for my boys as we're growing veggies this summer. Thanks for the info!

We finished it today. Consider pre-reading the chapter from the perspective of the pregnant teenage mother. That chapter started a bit harsh - even for me as an adult. Maybe b/c I listened to it, and the voice added all the emotion/emphasis.
