Black Beans

Has anyone grown these in their garden? If so, which ones?

I have. I do not remember the type but I liked it. As a matter of fact, I mentally dedicated a lot more squares in the future to dried beans. To get enough you do need a lot of plants and I did get enough for a meal or two. I think it would be worth it.

Thanks! At Johnny's, they have black soy beans, but I don't think that's what I want. Do you dry yours, because I was thinking about freezing them?

I found the seeds. They are called Black Turtle Black Beans. No, you do not want black soybeans. I dried mine - super easy. No reason you could not freeze them. I am sure there are plenty of directions on how to do so on the net.
