TD - A Journey Through Prostate Cancer
My latest cancer therapy was a twenty minute whimsical watercolour painting using three colours ... Yellow Ochre, Primary Red Cadmium and Ultramarine Blue. I made watery pools of each colour on the pallet. Then I loaded a cheap dollar store regular 2 inch brush with each colour and created very wet pools on the paper. By picking up the paper and moving it around the pools intermixed where they met. The same three colours were mixed in the pallet to create the brown for the tree trunks and branches which were painted with a #12 round watercolour brush. A mixture of the yellow and blue was washed along the bottom with that same brush. Using the dollar store brush. I also flicked some spots of paint onto the paper. An interesting and quick experiment in colours and technique. Anyone can do this!- on 3/2/2020, 5:00 pm
