Dear BettyAnn, Claire and Sandy,
Thanks for your replies. I made my planting schedule thinking of May 15 as the week 0, so so far nothing has been planted outside to early. Yesterday I planted onions and peas and transplanted kale, lettuce, broccoli and collards (I'm protecting them from wind and cold with the cut up bottles). I have some more of the same indoors in case they don't survive Very Happy
This is my first garden so I am pretty much relying on the books I am reading, info on the internet and advices from nice people -you. Today I am going to plant potatoes and getting some berry bushes from a friend.
Have a great weekend,
Lucrecia

PS. Claire, I got the last frost date from here http://www.suite101.com/blog/bobcajun/first_and_last_frost_dates

Dear Herblover,
I am glad your veggies are sprouting Wink My radishes sprouted sometime early this week and they look very strong and healthy. I planted 24 peas yesterday and I hope they do well too.
Have a good weekend,
Lucrecia
