Joplin disaster.. Empty Joplin disaster..

I am asking for your help in spreading this around a little. I know it's not something we do, but I feel this is for a good cause.

Joplin, MO was hit by one of the more devastating tornadoes in recent memory. I had the opportunity to pass through town on my holiday travels. With my photo-journalistic nature, I had to put something on the blog about it....to help in some way.

I am asking for you to visit the blog when you get time, and pass it along to friends/family that may benefit from reading it. The more people see it, the more help Joplin receives in some way....call it goodwill. In now way whatsoever do I benefit financially from any of this.

The community still struggles to rebuild long after the tv media has moved on to the next disaster. I know quite a few people from Joplin, and by talking about it recently, I've discovered many more that know someone affected. I'm sure Tuscaloosa is the same way down south.

Even if this steps on some sort of boundary, I am asking you to pass it along anyway. I want as many people to see this as possible, and to watch the show on January 20th. That is where people will truly be inspired to help out.

Thank you. There are several pictures in there I won't post here. The link is in my signature below (throughmyeyes).

I passed by there in late August on the highway - even from the highway you could see the utter devastation...
