Hypertufa is not a medical condition
To help extend my gardening and food supply into the winter I bought a book on micro greens by Fionna Hill. It is full of nice photography which takes nice growing pots to show off. Several of hers are stylish hypertufa pots something I had to google to understand. We SFG folks use most of the same ingredients in MM. The basic recipe is two parts peat moss, one part vermiculite or perlite and one part Portland Cement all mixed then wetted and further mixed into a paste. Then put on or in a form (like a plastic pot etc) then cured and used to pot plants. It can be used in the natural color or cement dies added to your liking. But many other useful items for a gardener can be made from Hypertufa such as Toad Houses, Bird Baths, Stepping Stones, Plaques and whatever you dream up. A finished item is very lite since peat moss and vermiculite make up most of them. It is a craft that does not require much to get started in. I plan on making a few items this winter for next years garden and pots for my micro greens now.
