Hi, I'm in SE Arizona at an elevation of about 4200 ft. We don't get alot of rain here- but the wells are pretty shallow- by AZ standards- I've been working on and off with Mel's methods for a while and wanted to say hi.

Thanks, I'm closer to Willcox, but we have a lot of the same issues in the areas. I just finished planting my fall peas today.

Welcome, SandraKay! New from AZ 582897

I think you'll enjoy the forum. Lots of nice folks on here & lots of good gardening advice! Don't be shy about asking questions or just sharing how your garden's doing! We love learning from each other. Check out the regional forums, too, for good old posts and to make new posts about things specific for your particular region.

I hope to see you around the forum!

Welcome! My mom lives in the Gila Valley. We made her a couple beds this last year, and her garden did amazing this summer! Good luck! Let us know if you have any questions!
