The color purple

I picked my purple cabbage today,

And my purple potatoes plants had died so I pulled those up.

So it's been a purple day for me! Purple cabbage, purple onions, purple potatoes

I can't wait to try those purple potatoes, I've never had any of those before.

So jealous. I tried to find purple potatoes without any luck. I haven't had them either. Let us now how they taste!

I remember once being served purple potatoes. I was spanked for refusing to eat them. Evil or Very Mad

I was six years old at the time. Sad

Maybe, just maybe, I might try them again one day. Very Happy

Kelejan, I can see why you didn't want to eat them, they just don't look right!

We had purple potato salad, purple slaw, everything was purple but the cow! Very Happy

My mom saved some of the bigger ones and she is going to make me some purple french fries, that might not be to bad.

Josh:

We picked a purple carrot today and put it in a salad. The outer skin was purple and the inner core was a dark orange.

Oh man, Josh, eating all that purple food will make you super healthy! I've been reading a lot about darker foods having antioxidants that their lighter counterparts don't. Gardening and purple foods...you might be the first SFGer to live FOREVER!! Smile
