Hi,
I already made my soil and am thinking ahead, or even to have extra on hand for potting or adding to my existing soil...I found my local waste authority sells a cubic yard of compost for $15. http://www.ohswa.org/quick_links/need_compost/
It says "Screened, cured compost material made from processed leaves, grass clippings and brush - no solid waste or sludge." --So how many kinds would that count as? Could I get that and then add something else to it? I'm probably going to grab some either way and just keep it in a few extra bins regardless. I don't know much about compost and would like to start making my own, probably for next year, but would like to have some now to top-off around my plants.
I guess my question is, how many "kinds" is this yard waste compost?

Re: source?
I am thrilled that you have a local waste authority composting! That's the good news.
The slightly less good news is I am pretty sure that would count as 1.
But if I'm wrong I'll be really happy for you!

Re: source?
One. It will be fine I'm sure, but test it for herbicides first.
