Can't see pics in others' posts

Good afternoon, all!! I snuck online during a break at work, and have noticed that there aren't any pics within the posts that indicate pics should be there. I don't even get the html.
From the responses that others have made, everyone else can see the pics. As far as I know, everything is up to date on this computer, and I can see avatar pics, so I have no clue.
Does anyone know what might be going on with this? I probably won't be on from work very often, but I also don't want to have to try to remember what I wanted to look at when I get home in the evening!!
Any suggestions would be helpful.
