Wow, are we heading into JUNE already??!! Here in the Modesto area of the Central Valley we're feeling almost like winter...this week we'll be back in the mid to high 60s, and low 70s...the seeds and new plants are wondering why we made them grow and stuck them out in the really cold and windy weather! However...here are the things we can plant for June, and yes they will grow, in spite of our weird weather!

Amaranth (also Love-lies-bleeding)
Plant in garden. Harvest from August
Angelica
Plant in garden. Harvest from 18 months
Chives (also Garden chives)(for Chive Blossom Vinegar?!)okay

Climbing beans (also Pole beans, Runner beans, Scarlet Runners)

Cucumber

Dwarf beans (also French beans, Bush beans)
Plant in garden. Harvest from August
Pak Choy
Plant in garden. Harvest from July
Rockmelon (also Canteloupe)

Sunflower

Watermelon
Sow direct up to about the middle of June Harvest from August
Zucchini (also Courgette/Marrow, Summer squash)

The above information is from http://www.gardenate.com/
Enjoy!
